About me

My name is Antoon van Hooft. I am a teacher at the University of Eindhoven, where my focus is on teaching basic mathematical and physical principles for the biomedical-engineering curriculum. My interests include: meteorology, dynamical systems theory, programming, GNU+Linux, computer simulations and their numerical methods. Further, my hobbies are (Dutch) mountain biking, swimming and water polo, car DIY-ing (see this link), and enjoying the nature surrounding my home town (whilst running).
